Assessment – part one
Sitcom Soldiers are a digital media specialist company, offering a variety of services from web design, photography, web hosting, to video production. They have been working with multi-national companies and worldwide artists from 2003. Although they produce high-end pieces of work for all of their mediums, they have become renowned for their work with music video production.
When creating a music video the producers would have to go through several stages of production. Initially they would have to go through the planning process. Once they had decided settings, lighting, location, hardware needed, etc, they would proceed onto the production stage in which they would create the set and film the footage. After this stage they footage would be uploaded to a computer and edited along to the song the band had chosen. Once the editing stage was complete the video would be given to the band and allowed to distribute it as they want.
Sitcom Soldiers advertise mainly online. At the end of all their videos they have a several second long clip which advertises them and their website. This is how I found out about their website, which proves it is an effective technique. Although Sitcom Soldiers is quite a small company they have proven their work to be very professional.

Assessment – part two
20th Century Fox Film Corporation has been producing films from 1935. They are located in Los Angeles and have become possibly the biggest film production company in the world. Examples of their work include some of the biggest films of all time; The Starwars Series, Fightclub, the X-men series, I Robot, and hundreds more. The company formed when two businesses merged; Fox Film Corporation and Twentieth Century Pictures.
As well as releasing hundreds of blockbusting films they also have a large involvement in television production.
Producing media would include scripting, casting, planning, production, filming, and editing. When producing such large pieces of media these stages would require much more time and money, which makes this type of company differ from Sitcom Soldiers as the size differences are colossal.

Assessment – part three
Universal Pictures was founded by a German named Carl Laemmle who immigrated to America where he managed a clothing store. After buying several Nickelodeon theatres he and eight other owners merged to create the Universal Film Manufacturing Company in 1912. Since then the Company has been through many changes which have led it to be one of the highest producers of films in the world.
Examples of their films include Jurassic Park, Water world, American Pie, Jarhead, Role models, and many more.
When producing Media they would follow the same stages as 20th Century Fox.
As well as 20th Century Fox, Universal operates on a global scale. Producing films that are distributed world-wide.
