LastMinute.com Project

Here are two out of three of my media pieces for our LastMinute.com project.

Speed Kills

Today we had another shot of using Flash. We re-familiarized ourselves with the features and then started work on creating a sketching effect to make it look like a picture was being hand-drawn.

Monday Monday.

So we made comic strips on a variety of websites. Here is mine from ToonDoo.

I thought I'd make something festive so here's Santa being kicked in the head.

After our classes four teams giving their pitch and presentations on friday we watched back the footage in class. From the footage we evaluated each team's performance and gave feedback as to how they might want to improve. Afterwards the class was asked which team they thought should win between Meh Digitals and Ultra Pulp Media and Team Ultra Pulp pulled it off.

First Monday back

We had a shot on Logoyes.com which allowed you to make your own logo. After making one we were happy with we print-screened and pasted the image into photoshop to further edit the image. Here was mine.

I went around the image with the smudge and burn tool to make it look less pixelated and more 3-D. I also burned around the text to add more continuity to the image and to make the text stand out more.
